How to Choose the Right Universal BTA Mounting Plate?

This section is to help you select the correct size mounting plate when ordering.

The distance between the screws under your arm pads is the critical dimension which will determine which width carbon mounting plate you need to order.

What You'll Need

Tape measure or ruler
Your Tri bars

Step 1: Remove Pads

Remove velcro elbow padding to see the screws underneath.

Step 2: With a tape measure, measure centre to centre distance between the screws under your arm pads

In this case, the distance between the screws (center of screw to center of screw) is a little bit less tham 140mm; therefore for this setup, the 160mm medium universal mounting plate is the best option.

Step 3 : Use chart below to select appropriate universal mounting plate width
